Cumulative Report of Bills Filed by Subject -

This 300+ page book lists the bills, captions and authors of all legislation filed during the filing period and sorts them by one or more of 30 different subject areas.

Final Report -

This 300+ page book recaps the legislation that passed during the session, effective dates, statutes amended or repealed, vetoed legislation, interim studies authorized, bills passed by author, bills passed by subject, bills passed by number, a recap of the last action of all bills, and a statistics on this session and a comparison to previous sessions.

Candidate Profiles -

This book, which is available prior to the first primary election, has photographs and extensive biographical information on all candidates in legislative, statewide and congressional races. Bio information includes employment, educational, military, religious, hobby, volunteer and family information in addition to the name and address of the campaign treasurer.

Options

Bill Full-Text - This features gives users access to the full-text of legislation, including as filed, committee amendments and substitutes, floor amendments, engrossments, opposite house amendments and substitutes, conference committee reports, and enrolled, ability to perform a number of different searches including Boolean searches of the full-text and the ability to compare different versions of legislation for changes. Bills can be viewed in color to highlight new and stricken language, downloaded to facilitate the drafting of amendments and substituted, printed with drafting numbers, pagination, underlines and strikeouts, faxed directly from our computer to a fax machine, or e-mailed to any Internet mail box. Bill drafting macros are available for the major word processors on both PC and MacIntosh computers to aid in the drafting of amendments and substitutes using downloaded text.

Bill Tracking - Ability to enter the specific legislation to be followed along with a personalized code and a position code. This option allows the client to create numerous reports based on the different personalized codes of the client. In addition, record vote tracking analysis reports show which legislators are voting with a particular client, against a client, and absent. This report shows number and percentages. Committee hearings, Daily Reports, floor calendars, and custom reports are now personalized in addition to the standard tracking options.

TxALERT Paging Service - This real-time service automatically pages your own alphanumeric pager with a detailed message as soon as something happens to one of your key bills. Best of all, you can easily pick and choose the bills using the Bill Tracking Service, select one of 6 levels of service depending on which actions you prefer to be paged, and support up to 9 different pagers from just one tracking file. If you are lobbying in multiple states and you are using a regional or national paging service, TxALERT works concurrently with the paging services in Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana and Oklahoma so you can be paged anywhere if action happens on one of your bills in any of thoses states. TxALERT is the only paging service that lets you use your own pager as well as giving you multiple state coverage.

Personal Remarks Tracking - This is an option to the Bill Tracking Service. It allows a client to enter their own language that can be included on the tracking reports. Remarks can be either general in nature or specific to a particular personalized code. The Tracking Reports and the Custom Report Generator allow you to elect whether or not to include the remarks.

General Government - The service monitors the ongoing aspects of Texas government whether it be scheduled hearings of over 750 agencies and boards, attorney general opinions and requested opinions, candidate information and election results, rules and regulations of state agencies, Ethics Commission opinions and requests, and more...

Campaign Finance - This exclusive service tracks campaign contributions of $100 or more for all legislative races. Numerous reports can be generated and a variety of sort options are available. Information includes name, PAC, address, candidate, amount, filing period, date, party... Sorting methods include by date, amount, candidate name, election race, and zip code. There are three report styles to choose from including a brief, one-line report, a complete information report, and mailing labels. You can easily search for all contributions by a particular contributor or organization.
